CSU-AAUP guarantees certain rights and provides important benefits for faculty.

Rights are fundamental entitlements or legal protections.They include salaries and pay, as well as working conditions. CSU-AAUP rights are contained in our Collective Bargaining Agreement (Contract).

Benefits are extra gains or perks. For CSU-AAUP members they take two forms: 1) health care and pensions and 2) member discounts.

The rights and benefits of our part-time faculty are also contained in our contract, but are different in some respects to those of full-time faculty and so deserve a separate section.
